Skedsmokorset, Norway 1970

Description

Villa Sparre was built in 1970 at Skedsmokorset in the vicinity of Oslo. The nature location was developed as a residental area with a group of engineering collegues as central actors. Sparre was one of these. Several of the buildings were designed by another architect, but they had limited capacity, and recommended Fehn for Sparre. The house was first designed for a family of four, but had to be redrawn as there came another child.
